Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè (/ˈlɘqë/ /ˈdamɘ/ [tired (needing sleep); tired (needing rest)] [society]) is a temperate Large Town located in the Lêtdêsara Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè was founded by Zèbêj Tshèj, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1339, by Zèbêj Tshèj. The establishment of Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of premissive packed earth mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's frontieer-style defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do.

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè's natural decorations nor waterways.

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

The Horsefly, Giant near Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Lêqë-damê Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves orgies to channel Transmutation energies of tier 3 via speaking in tongues.
